GOD HAS A PLAN FOR YOU

5 STEPS TO RECEIVING GOD’S GREATEST GIFT

Watch this video from Bishop Grier or follow the steps below.

  • STEP 1: REALIZE THAT GOD LOVES YOU

Romans 5:8 – But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

  • STEP 2: REALIZE YOU′VE SINNED & YOU ARE A SINNER

Romans 3:23 – For all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God.

  • STEP 3: REALIZE THAT WITHOUT JESUS YOU HAVE NO HOPE

Romans 6:23 – For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus.

  • STEP 4: PRAY OUT LOUD FROM YOUR HEART

Romans 10:9 -10 – That if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. Click here to say a prayer for salvation or click here to say a prayer for rededication.

  • STEP 5: BE CONFIDENT THAT GOD HEARD YOU

Romans 10:13 – For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord, will be saved.

NOW THAT I’M A BELIEVER, WHAT ARE MY NEXT STEPS?

  • STEP 1: FIND A SOLID, BIBLE-TEACHING CHURCH

Get connected to a church that believes and teaches the Bible. Community and relationship with other believers will help you grow and stay strong in your faith.

  • STEP 2: DEVELOP YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD

Read your Bible regularly. A good place to start is the Book of John. Pray daily. Begin by simply talking to God from your heart. Vocally worship and praise God as part of your new lifestyle.

  • STEP 3: SHARE YOUR FAITH

As God gives you the opportunities, begin sharing your experience with God and your faith with family, friends and neighbors.

  • Luke 15:19-24

I am no longer worthy to be called your son. Treat me as one of your hired servants. 20And he arose and came to his father. But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and felt compassion, and ran and embraced him and kissed him. 21And the son said to him, ‘Father, I have sinned against heaven and before you. I am no longer worthy to be called your son.’ 22But the father said to his servants, ‘Bring quickly the best robe, and put it on him, and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet. 23And bring the fattened calf and kill it, and let us eat and celebrate. 24 For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found.’ And they began to celebrate.

  • John 6:37

All that the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never drive away.

  • Isaiah 53:62

All of us like sheep have gone astray, each of us has turned to his own way; but the LORD has caused the iniquity of us all to fall on Him.

  • 1 John 1:9

If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.

  • Isaiah 44:22

I have wiped out your transgressions like a thick cloud and your sins like a heavy mist. Return to Me, for I have redeemed you.
